My visual and literary references stands for a children concept; Passing through Coraline and The Secret World and Alice in Wonderland, those magic and free narratives always enchanted me. I think it could give for a ‘created universe’ great richness into details, being seem by a pure perspective. Think about children that live with you or even yourself as a children; aren’t their visions more clear than ours, after greeting adult lives?
Well, ‘Vicky Sick’ is not so pure as Alice and Coraline, despite the references; I tried to give it a more mature discussion, with abusive parenting, bullying, mental issues and it’s medications and, going more deeply, a female ill existence on a misogyny society. The idea of story is for 16+ or young adult.
